Important Dates (NOTE: This is a draft schedule and subject to change.

• June. 14 - $25 Early Registration Discount Ends
• July 12 - Last day for normal registration - $25 Late Fees Start
• July 19  - Rec. Registration Closes
• Aug. 1/2 or Aug. 8/9 - Rec Assessments and Uniform Fitting
• Week of August 10th - Teams Drafted and Players Notified of Team by Head Coaches
• Aug. 15 - Practice Starts for Rec.
• Sept. 5 - Opening Day (First Games)
• October 24 - Tournament Start (Pool Games) 
• Nov. 7 - Championship Games/Team Trophy Presentation/End of Fall Season
• Nov. 8 - Winter Program Starts
• Nov. 8 – Spring 2020 Rec Registration Opens

Programs Offered

All programs, except mini-hitters, will have a minimum 2 events per week, 1 weekday and 1 Saturday. Season is roughly split into 3 parts. The first part is 2 practices; the second part is 1 weekday practice and 1 weekend game. The last part is 1 weekday game and 1 weekend game. Teams with odd number of teams will have 2 games instead of 1 during some weeks.

• 4U (Mini-Hitters) - Introductory Program that includes clinic style practices and short games that build up to mini-hitters graduation in a full field game. Players receive full unifotm and mini-hitter graduation trophy. Teams meet 1 day per week, for 1 hour and 15 minutes, usualy on Sunday afternoons. Program starts 2 to 3 weeks after regular rec program to get the proper number of events for players of this age.
• 5U CP Tee Rescue 
• 6U CP Tee Rescue

• 8U Coach Pitch 
• 9U/10U Kid Pitch 
• 11/12U Kid Pitch
• 13-15U Inter-park League - Competitive recreation baseball league which plays games against other Hopewell teams as well as other area parks. All players who register for the season will be selected to a team.
• Fall Select Tournament Teams - A new program for the Fall 2019 Season will be Select tournament teams for ages 10U-12U. These are designed for players that would like to play additional advanced baseball in the Fall, but plan to tryout for Select or play in the recreation league in the Spring season. Tryouts will be conducted and communicated for these teams.
